The Crag EX™ Leash is an adjustable dog leash that can be used hand-held or hands-free. Fully extend to 6 feet (1.8 m) for relaxed walks or more room while running and hiking, or shorten to 3.5 feet (1 m) when looking to keep your pup close. The metal slider makes it easy to adjust length on the go.

The side-release buckle on the handle is easy to use and reinforced with an aluminum uniloop for exceptional strength, adjusting easily when wearing around the waist. Ruffwear’s unique Talon Clip™ offers a strong and secure connection to your dog.

It includes Ruffwear's signature leash features like a padded handle, an accessory loop for pick-up bags or small attachable leash accessories, and strong webbing that holds its color so it can be your favorite leash for years to come. Integrated reflectivity helps boost visibility for dogs and humans getting out in low-light conditions.

    Absolutely Love these leashes!!

    These leashes are absolutely amazing!! I use them for many different things…I use them when I am working with new dogs to grow the bond between us; I also use them when I am walking several dogs. It allows me to keep my hands free so I can grab treats, pick up poo and lure dogs into the place I want them to be.

    Great Option to Have

    It's light and easy to use, and my puppy seems to mind it less than a leash I have to hold with my hands, for whatever reason. The little bit of padding on the waist part is nice. I wish there were more VARIETY in the aesthetic styles of the different colors, and it might be nice if the maximum length were a little bit longer, but my day isn't super ruined by either of those shortcomings, so 5 stars for the utility of it all.

    Wish I had bought this sooner

    We had an older model for more than 10 years and loved it. However, our older model slowly tightened around our waist if the dog pulled down the trail. And... let's face it, the padding was not as robust as it was to start after 10 years. It was time for a new one. This leash is so comfy to wear around the waist and does not tighten as you walk, thanks to the metal support. It also is easily adjustable for people who are tall or short, want the dog near or let them roam a bit more. The addition of the buckle is also a good addition so it's faster on/off from previous models. Totally recommend and wish we had bought this sooner.
