When it comes to exploring in and around water, the Undercoat™ Water Jacket offers warmth for dogs who can't resist making a splash in the colder, shoulder seasons or who are prone to getting cold when wet. It's an amphibious jacket that thrives in wet environments, using a formfitting laminated neoprene for insulation that stretches and moves with dogs as they romp and swim. Super-soft, articulated stretch StormSleeves™ are engineered to seal in warmth while maintaining freedom of movement.

Can be worn standalone as an insulative piece, or layered under the Float Coat™ Life Jacket if buoyancy is also needed.

WATER-FRIENDLY WARMTH

Laminated neoprene body is flexible and provides insulation in wet environments.

STRETCH SLEEVES

Articulated stretch StormSleeve™ seals in warmth and allows for natural swimming motion.

Small drain holes on belly panel allow water to exit.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Undercoat is Formfitting with a zippered closure and sleeves for core heat retention

Seems substantial and good quality. It's a dog wet suit!
Wondering if we will use it much since we have the life vest but it fits well and if the dogs are free swimming I can see it would be a good visual for us. The water in WA is cold so might be a plus for that too.

Having this wetsuit (our girl actually has 2) has made it possible for her to start swimming in April/May once snow melts and not having to wait until June. An essential purchase if your dog is active in water.

Jacket fits my GSP puppy well. It has holes on the chest for water drainage. It's easy to put on with the zipper .
